What can my student/s expect to be doing?

Students will be working with a professional director and choreographer as well as West End Players alumni to broaden performance skills, grow their knowledge of theater, and to produce a show! Along with rehearsals for the performance, students will also be creating costumes and set pieces, developing expressiveness and spontaneity through improv and theater games, working on dance and vocal skills, and many other activities!

Does my student need to have previous performance experience?

Not at all! The majority of students at the Summer Drama Academy have little to no experience. Students will acquire experience in dancing, singing, acting, and in backstage aspects of theater over the course of the camp.

Will my student be on stage?

Your student will have the opportunity to be on stage for at least two performances.
